Business process reengineering has become a different topic in the field of the management. Generally, they are implemented with top to bottom approach that means that the top management implements the policy and bottom and middle level employees are meant to perform it. This process is helpful in making the organization more process oriented to make it more competitive.
Employee commitment is generally considered as the most important factor in the organization especially in banking industry. Here six sigma methodology is used as the most effective technique where efficient statistical methods and analytical processes are used to measure the employee performance towards their job roles and responsibilities.
Generally the success of the six sigma methodology does not depend solely on the technique itself because no method of this world is perfect enough to measure the human behaviour in an efficient way. Especially in the banking and service industry, to use the six sigma methodology is not yet proven successful because most of the parameters are found to be based on the manufacturing industry.
It is necessary to provide the proper training and guidance to the employees to improve their knowledge, aptitude and skills towards improving their job roles and responsibilities. After getting the proper knowledge and training, a learner can optimize the knowledge to improve their process of performing their job roles and responsibilities.
The success of training and learning programs is dependant on the different critical factors. It is expected by the organization from the training programs that employees should learn something new which is valuable for them to perform well.
