What are asynchronous and synchronous online courses?

Mostly every online course is asynchronous because it is based on independence of working. Unless a student is doing everything under time limits, everything is all-right. But there are some parts, which are synchronous.

Synchronous part is the component of your online course which are necessarily available in every online course like - weekly meetings, regular attendance and participation of students etc. There are many instances where many synchronous and asynchronous activities move parallel.

The example of synchronous-asynchronous parallel activity is - like a lecturer reviews the assignments and projects of the students, there is no necessity for a student to present there. But in a week the lecturer introduces new material, which students can watch at their home.

Your teachers would be more trustable to yourself, if you take learning as fun. But in real life, offline learning can be very irritating and hazardous too. A student should really proud when he is going to complete his studies by online medium.
